Finally, A Useful Message

Review: I haven’t heard from this artist in a while and must say that this album is pretty good. For the majority of the CD there is an actual message. A story, his story and he tells it well.

The rap technique is on point and he’s talking about more than just bling. A refreshing step away from the mundane. As for the three wives, who cares. If he can take care of them all then and they all are in on the actions, then by all means. Most men can’t handle one wife and he’s holding down three as far as we know.

Back to the music. This CD has given me hope that the new comers aren’t all lost in the dreams of money, leased cars, rented MTV Cribs and hoes downing in cheap champaign.

Mama Africa, The Rain and Never Took the Time are all pretty hot. I can really do with out the reminder of who I’m listening to. If Akon (a konvict) forgets what he was or his name then put on a name tag but leave if off the record.

This gets 7 blades out the wrapper.
