Synopsis: Percy Jackson’s seventh-grade year has been surprisingly quiet. Not a single monster has set foot on his New York prep-school campus. But when an innocent game of dodgeball among Percy and his classmates turns into a death match against an ugly gang of cannibal giants, things get… well, ugly. And the unexpected arrival of his friend Annabeth brings more bad news: the magical borders that protect Camp Half-Blood have been poisoned by a mysterious enemy, and unless a cure is found, the only safe haven for demigods will be destroyed.
Percy and his friends must journey into the Sea of Monsters to save their camp. But first, Percy will discover a stunning new secret about his family — one that makes him question whether being claimed as Poseidon’s son is an honor or simply a cruel joke.
Review: The return of Percy Jackson has the Greek Harry Potter at his latest school and preparing for another Summer at Camp Half-Blood. He was close to ending the year without any drama until that day where Percy gets stuck playing dodgeball against a few school bullies (laistrygonians). They are more undercover demons and I’m wondering when will Percy begin to sense danger around him rather than someone always bailing him out of trouble. Tyson, a new school friend, helps Percy from danger and turns out to be immune to fire (hint that he’s no ordinary kid), and Annabeth stabbed the last bully.
After dodging more trouble but not before being kicked out of yet another school, Percy and his friends head off to camp. Once the kids get there they find out that the camp is in danger. Thalia’s tree (the forbidden daughter of Zeus who also broke the “sacred oath” by the three brother gods who was turned into a tree by her father after almost dying after an attack) was poisoned and Chiron was fired because he failed to “protect” the tree. In his place was Tantalus, one of the spirits from the Fields of Punishment.
Once again Percy seems to be out of the loop as everyone around him can see what Tyson truly is except for him. Annabeth, though disgusted, grants permission to Tyson so that he may enter into the camp and help save Percy (once again) while everyone is in full battle against invasion. Once the fighting is over, Percy learns that Tyson is really a Cyclops and his half-brother, another son of Poseidon. Apparently, when gods have children with nature they create cyclopses.
There is another quest sent out to hunt for the Golden Fleece to help save Thalia and the camp. This time Clarisse LaRue, Ares’s daughter is made to lead the quest and Percy is told to remain at the camp. Percy, Tyson, and Annabeth sneak off and find trouble along with Clarisse and the Fleece along the way. Before their adventures are complete the gang rescues Grover from being married and then eaten by another Cyclops and they discover what Luke Castellan, the fallen demigod is up to. This story had a few WTF moments and made me laugh at some odd references that would be placed in this book. Not funny (amusement) but funny (odd). 5.5 bookmarks for the sequel of Percy’s adventures as the read felt childish at times, especially for this type of book.

Ashley Judd seems to have added her happy ass to the long list of folks in denial of the monster that their precious industry (the W.O.S.) has created. Judd has taken it upon herself to reiterate the obvious while ignoring the giant wizard puppeteer behind the puppets.
espite the truth that there are no set programs, more than half of the shows are unconfirmed, the first week or more have only been previews of what MIGHT be shown, and more than half of all television viewers have yet to see anything on the OWN Network, mainstream
2010 has been another year where the WOS Celebs have stepped their game up in the category of bullshit, hot mess, and sloppiness. Yesterday, two WOS young bloods were in battled in another Internet War of Words. Twitter has become the "safe zone" to attack folks behind a computer and have the fans directly involved. Instant bullshit brought to everyone's and anyone's computer screens - whether asked for it or not.
As many gleam over the multiple of things that has been added to her list of "deeds" which deed became her turning point. ... Negating her sexuality (that has little to do with her public actions as far as I'm concerned) what is really going on with her? ... She doesn't seem to read or comprehend some of the books she pushes through her "book club" being that two frauds have been discovered. She only "confronted" one of the frauds because the other media began to question her intelligence and if she and her cohorts even fact checked their information.
