Review: Well seems like the woman abuser is back on the scene with his latest project, Graffiti. Will it be a hit or come out the gate limper than a Viagraless turtle? Seems that using Reggae to gain some attention is back on the menu for the Industry. Eminem was not the only one to tap into his hidden Caribbean Region (which should have remained hidden) as Chris “The Beater” Brown has called on the Dancehall Crossover Artist himself, Sean Paul, to lend a hand on the tune Brown Skinned Girl. This album seems to have a touch of acknowledgment to his ex, Rhianna, but was this before or after the abuse made front page news? Either way we have a couple of songs from love to apologies that could go either way.

The album as a whole does not suck and I did want to dislike the artist as I do the actions of the child, but I could not. The Beater pulled out a decent project and seems to have called on all his Industry clanmates to help. I am not fond on the small Wayne rapper but the song Transform You is catchy. Will catch bring this album to the top of the charts? I doubt it, but that would probably be due to the abuse and not completely on The Beater being an incompetent, talentless wonder as are most of his compadres in the business. 2009 is not closing out with Chris “The Beater” Brown on top. Perhaps 2010 will greet him with redemption, and then again, maybe not. It took time for me to forgive James Brown for his shenanigans, maybe that’s what I’ll need with The Beater – time.

Overall the album gets 7 blades and a B- for good content but he could have been better. Hopefully he’ll focus his frustrations on the microphone rather than his next love interest.
