Out of no where there is a mini-frenzy with regards to Apollo Ohno’s mother. Folks are requesting to know who and where she is. Why? Are they going to pull a Madonna and adopt Ohno from his father? Are they going to do what those “missionaries” did in Haiti and attempt to kidnap him and bring him over someone’s boarder? What difference does it make to this people if they know who gave birth to this Olympian? Do they want to test theories and see if he was hatched from an egg or a Petri dish?
At times folks can be down right too nosy for their own damn good. What if his mother died a horrible death and it pained the family to continue to bring up the memories? This man gives his time, energy, strength, and body to compete with a USA stamped on his back, thigh, hand, or any other available body part. Now folks need his damn lineage on trading stamps as well? Sheesh. I’m on Team Oh-No You Don’t Trick! So give it a rest and back up off Ohno!
