Who’s Best Entitled, the Negro or the Broad?

obamawrightconnection For quite some time both Blacks and White women have been fighting for “equal acknowledgment” from the White man. Now both are in prime position to finally have the White man take ultimate orders from them. Or do they. The latest Obama supporting preacher has caused the object of their affections to take a step back from their awaiting arms.

Father Michael Pfleger has found the need to point out that Hilary Clinton is driven by a sense of entitlement and it had me wonder. What’s wrong with that? This has not been the first time someone has used that word with Hilary, nor will it be the last. The true question is should she be faulted for the feelings that many Blacks have and possibly the Black candidate as well? For decades Blacks have felt as though they were owed the opportunity to not only run for high offices such as the Presidency, but to win the seat as well.

For the times that the Black candidate was passed up at a job or felt that they could not “get ahead” do they not also have a sense of the country “owing them?” How different is a Black person who feels entitled from a White woman who feels the same? At this point I would pay for the Black man to get in – not because I feel he’s the best option or that it is about time – simply so I would not have to hear about how much America isn’t ready.

For years Blacks have been in positions of power and have shown that they too are flawed. Not always the best candidate because they are well dressed and well spoken. Not always the best candidate because no dirt is thrown from their camp or because they are the “lesser of two evils.” So now, for the spirit of killing this poorly constructed argument I would like to see this Black candidate get into office. However, if he doesn’t “come through” for the Black community will it be because the White man is holding him back, he sold out once in, or he simply sucks?

As for the White woman feeling entitled, you keep doing you. Most criticizing you about it feel entitled themselves and are mad at how close you came. You would have been an historical move just as much as the first Negro in office. It could not have been planned better unless you could have been the first Negro and broad all at once. Since this is not the first Negro candidate and most passed on the chance of a Negro female president a few years back TBC will just sit back and watch the fireworks. A Negro and another elderly man caressing his death bed – oh boy!
