‘Til Tuesday, an 80s band, was one of the hottest American rock bands of the time. I caught up on them through the introduction of their video Voices Carry as it was a different video then what I was used to and the song was catchy. I recently found out that the song was supposed to be sung from woman to woman and because of record label pressures, the focus was changed to woman to man. The lead, Aimee Mann, was amazing and the video is still profound today.
