Sooooooo there’s a new show called Kid Nation, I think, and it’s about kids running a closed town better than the adults. So far there are a bunch of egos flowing around and one of the “nerdy” kids who I think has a complex already thinks he needs to be Sheriff and “deal” with the towns bullies. During the first Town Meeting, Mike (11), began to yell at one of the older kids because he walked up to him & told him that he needed to get things under control. It’s not as if the guy was wrong. Pure mayhem and the Town Council had no control. So that was WTF Moment #1.
Next was the fact that kids had over 3 lbs of macaroni trying to cook it for 40 kids.. LOL Cute yet WTF Moment #2
Basically this show seems to be Survivor for Kids trapped in a deserted town. Oh joy!
This might play out through the whole season but I can’t see a Season 2 coming out of this. What next, run a hotel?
Oh well….. Tune in or Tune out….
