From wars to hometown interest stories Walter Cronkite has been the man that most turned to for the news.  Deemed an honest newscaster, when he spoke folks listened.  This weekend this legendary newscaster has passed away.

He will be remembered by many as Uncle Walter.  The man who coined the phrase “and that’s the way it is” set a high bar that most newscasters today miss and will never reach.
