Went to Blockbuster again because a friend had a location near him that was closing and DVDs were $1.99. Well I picked up seven that I felt were not worthy of $14.99 or up but may be worth the risk of wasted time. Anyhoo, when I got to the register I was very alert and swift as I knew to check all cases and DVDs (one was badly scratched and one case was empty). By the end I ended up with four movies at $.99 each. I alerted the employee that I would not be needing the cases (something that I have done multiple times previously and the workers simply discarded the empty cases with their other mounds of trash). This employee proceeded to tell me that “they” don’t need the cases either and I might as well take them home and throw them out – in a rude manner. I didn’t argue. I simply removed the DVDs from the cases, placed them into a plastic bag and droped off the empty cases on the corner of the counter without fan fare.

I am trying hard not to battle stupid bitches with bad attitudes for unnecessary status. Folks who are having a bad day need to realize that not everyone is an enemy. I was having, and still am, having a wonderful day/night. Please do not fail to assume that your temper tantrum will spoil that. So as that employee closes up shop for the last time and clears off the counters, I hope those last four empty DVD cases greet you with a smile because they left me with one on my face.
