This must have been the time to pull out all the stops. John McCain and his campaign people felt that it was appropriate to have a pep rally the same night BamBam gave his acceptance speech for the Democratic nomination. It was a complete joke as about 25 of McCain’s closest friends (probably his campaign volunteers) gathered in a small room with green background everywhere. The guests seemed just as confused as the news crews and McCain; and his own people booed at weird times. His sad speech could have been sent out in a memo.
