John Hughes passed away at the age of 59 yesterday and leaves behind a string of classic films. He was director, producer, or writer of some of the classic films of the 80s and 90s. Not every film was a must see for me but The Breakfast Club will always have a place in my collection. After reaching his limit with the industry, Hughes retired. Not wanting to be solely known for teen films, Hughes branched out into other topics to create such films as Uncle Buck, Curley Sue, Home Alone I & II, and Trains, Planes and Automobiles.
