nkotb1990s2 They’ve set the way for the mega stars that are known as N’Sync, BackStreet Boys, and 98 Degrees. Well, at least N’Sync. These five men started their journey with the help of a Black man named Maurice Starr who was soon re-named The General. Fashioned after New Edition, who were fashioned after the Jackson 5; The New Kids On The Block rose to fame and became the biggest marketing campaign the world has ever seen for a group from the U.S.

After three blockbuster albums the guys called it quits when New Kid, Jonathan Knight’s anxiety became too much for him to handle. The fellas soon found their own balance through movies, producing, realty, television, Broadway, and solo music projects.

Now they’re back, like a few other 80s/90s groups to rekindle the splash their die-hard fans have been waiting for. Let’s relive the love with one of the videos that helped me to fall in love with the fellas, especially Jordan Knight’s dimples!! Oh yeah… sing it baby!!
