What is double dipping? Is it as bad as some think it is? Double dipping is usually explained as people returning to the familiar. One example can be food. At a public function (i.e., a party) and food is left out next to a dipping sauce. One may come along, dip a tortilla chip, take a bite and then re-dip the same chip back into the public dip. This can lead to dirty looks and even confrontation.

Let’s take this concept to lovers. Two people get together and for whatever reason are deemed incompatible. After the break-up they find themselves face-to-face and fall back into bed. Double dipping has occurred. Now what?

Many people are unable to handle sex with an ex but do it all the time. Should double dipping be a known rule in relationships? Should this practice be off limits all together? How are people supposed to move on if they continue to double dip? Should guidelines be attached to this procedure? Not sure about any of this but one thing is for sure, the weak at heart should NEVER engage in double dipping. They are incapable of following through and the consequences are too much for them to handle.

Dip in and get out is the main rule to double dipping. Never marinate and linger especially in territory that was no good to begin with.
