The Republicans are a mess but the Democrats have always given them a run for their money. Just as the physical shackles and chains were removed Blacks were drawn to the Republican party. Most of it was due to the fact that the Democrats wanted nothing to do with Negros. Soon the Republicans began to change things up as the interest to protect the wealthy began to increase. With most Blacks not fitting this mold they were wooed by the Democratic appeal.

Over the decades the Democratic party began to take the Black vote (no matter how many they had) for granted. The assumption was that no matter what, the Blacks despised rich, White America so much that their vote would automatically go to the Dems. Much of that was true until a White Jewish man stepped in to the picture. Which one you ask? Michael Bloomberg. This man was determined to prove how different he was – rich or not. He proved that with proper business sense and a thoughtful disposition: one would be able to turn things around. The Dems messed up and Bloom stepped in. Not because Blacks didn’t vote but because their votes were heard.
