In 2006 on September 20th, Aiken played coy with a reporter from People’s magazine as he dodged the question regarding his sexuality.

“On whether he’s gay: “What do you say (to that question)? … It’s like when I was 8. I remember something would get broken in the house, and Mom and Dad would call me in and say, ‘Did you do this?’ Well, it didn’t matter what I said. The only thing they would believe was yes. … People are going to believe what they want.”

This dance of non-answers was simply holding back what Aiken would later make an “exclusive.” Two years and four days later he decides to go back to People Magazine (one of the outlets that celebs go to so they may jump out of the closet with pride) to say “Yes, I’m Gay.” Was it really a question Aiken? I knew you were sweeter than a king size bag of Skittles the moment you showed up for try-outs on American Idol. Was it a big deal then? No. Is it a big deal now? NO! Maybe Clay and the rest of the world forgot that the Gay Bullhorn, Rosie O’Donnell sound his alarm for him once on November 2007 after Aiken’s drama-filled appearance on ‘Regis & Kelly.’ Kelly Ripa is the beloved co-host of the show and Aiken was asked to fill-in for Regis when he was out. clayaikenmakeover

While on the show, Aiken placed his hands over Ripas’ mouth to hush her and she was visibly not happy with that move. Regardless that Ripa did the same to previously, she told Aiken “That’s a no-no. I don’t know where that hand’s been, honey.” I agreed with Ripa, just because. Either way, Bullhorn O’Donnell decided to pick up the rainbow flag and announce to the world, on The View, that Kelly Ripa made “homophobic” remarks against Aiken. WTF??!!! What show was that wench watching? Regardless, O’Donnell continued by saying that Ripa’s reactions meant that she [Ripa] believed Aiken’s hands to be dirty from touching men. Seriously, WTF?!!??? Does O’Donnell have a Bullshit book she reads from for day-to-day living? Not only did O’Donnell proceed to continue referring to Aiken as a gay man but unattractive as well. She claimed that if Mario Lopez was her guest and touched her that way, Ripa would have reacted differently. Most women would, but who told The Bullhorn to voice other people’s inner voices? Ripa called The View and said that she has children and being flu season she didn’t want people touching her any way they chose. That was cool but Ripa should have also taken that into account being that her children make her more of a germ carrier than most. Sorry parents, but your kids are walking bacteria tanks. All children are. Their immune systems are still developing. Barbara Wawa [Walters] White Washed it all by saying “all is well with the world” after Ripa, O’Donnell and Aiken supposedly spoke behind the scenes.

So now back to Mr. Aiken “finally” coming out. Did you really? The only person shocked might have been President Lincoln and he’s dead. Get real Aiken. Didn’t you know people added you to the list of Recent Gay Celebs to Have Children? Please pay attention because we have. We have noticed that your sells are clayaiken down and so is the interest in your life. Thanks to Ryan Seacrust and the few dorks starved for sales, you received the cover of the exact same magazine you told two years earlier that you were ignoring rumors as if you were 8 again. Get it together Aiken and sing another Spamalot song.
