As I sat back and laughed at the initial announcement that we received a Nobel Peace Prize, I chuckled to my heart’s content when the distinct award he received was in the name of Peace.

Many were outraged and even started discussion groups over the thought of the first Negro Disney Princess being a frog for the majority of the film. The thought of her even being transformed to begin with brought outrage and I was even amongst the outraged. As a measurement for myself I attempt to give visual accounts for the majority of things I critique and The Princess and the Frog almost changed that. I stuck to my guns and gave the film a look and was not as outraged as I thought I would be.
The formula for most mystical, creature infested films of Disney follow similar recipes and this would be no different. The film Avatar, however, was a movie that I was to preview months ago but conflicting schedules prevented me from doing so. When he first came on the scene, Negros were proud to claim this “clean-cut Negro” as one of their own. When he broke golf (of all sports) records back-to-back, folks just could not get enough of him. One particular reason that I know makes a situation such as this not the fault of family is when a person in love serves their “love” on a garbage can lid to their family and close friends.
Why keep a relationship secret (or the direction the relationship is going) and then bring this person who is practically a stranger to your family as a new edition to the family? Well the first wave of bullshit is over as the murder trial of Amanda Knox has come to an end with a guilty verdict. The Italian jury seems to not have fallen in love with the doe-eyes broad or her “ex-boyfriend” as the American press have.
