  • Once again John Singleton baffles me with nonsense. I tried to get into the movie then it took a turn for the corny. Four brothers,  Bobby (Mark Wahlberg), Angel (Tyrese Gibson), Jeremiah (Andre Benjamin) and Jack Mercer (Garrett Hedlund), hunt down the murderers of their mother and find a nemesis that they may not be prepared to fight.

  • This film was the typical Negro film with flesh, but the most memorable scene was the ultimate cat fight between Diamond & Ronnie.

Admittedly I was not thrilled about the film due to the fact that I knew nothing going in, wasn't interested, and was not amused with Robert Downey, Jr. as lead hero. Then I heard that it was based on an elite arms dealer who was a womanizer and alcoholic. Oh joy! Perfect casting
