Review: This 1st installment of the Lord of the Ring Trilogy was a very looooooooong and trying film. It seemed as though this flick had no end. Then the unbelievable happened: the ending SUCKED!! How in the world could you have people sitting there for 18 hours watching a dang screen and then just shut off the cameras???!!! That was just CRAZY!!!!!! This film was just too long for a simple dang-in introduction!! I know that each character must be acknowledged to the audience, but dang. A 5 hour movie that could have been 2! That should have been the subtitle to the title of the flick!

There were some good spots though. The story held together for the most part and the visuals were amazing. When Frodo, Sam, Pippin and Merry hid from a Nazgûl everyone was on the edge to see this creepy creature come to life. Elf Arwen did her thing when she came for Frodo: You want him? Come and get him Oh yeah baby!!!

Because of the length & the ending I asked for a refund: $5 of my $10 back!! Clarence had the nerve to catch attitude! I give this thing 6 blades and a C for the action and the story behind the disaster and 5 Bootleg Handcuffs to Clarence just because he gave too much attitude.

P.S. Arwen (Liv Tyler) made up for most of the drag… “If you want if; come and claim him!
