Review: WARNING: NOT the typical bad orphan movie!!

The opening of the movie was hot. 9-year-old Esther was amazing and she ran shit from the moment she moved in. The mother had me as she was tripping and she was easily played by the child. This was a great thriller/suspense film that was overdue.

The cinematography was also a plus. Whatever you do, don’t touch her ribbons. This bitch was no joke. Devious and brazen., Esther was not afraid to handle business. The film is graphic and not for children or the weak at heart. One scene she made the baby sister an accomplice in one of her schemes. She was a Russian gangster. She was even ready to slice off a hairless prick!! She was an amazing manipulator of situations and people around her.

With a touch of Fatal Attraction and The Good Son this movie was not a disappointment. Seems that with most films involving adoption, the fathers are usually snowed by the children. Snitches get stitches is the theme in this film. The husband, at one point, made the wife sleep on the couch downstairs while he nursed Esther back to health in the Master bedroom. WTF?!? The husband did not even believe the wife as Esther and the therapist build a case against her. Esther should have been taken out from first instance. So amazing, this is a definite addition to the T.B.C. Collection.

Esther gave a twist at the end for daddy! New thoughts for Russian mental institutional bound babies. I LOOOVED the deaf girl!

10 blades to this flick for always keeping it interesting. A lesson about greed and excess. Be happy with what you have.

The end lesson learned: Orphans are NOT to be fucked with!
