No Love But A Possible Like

Album: Love?

Artist(s): Jennifer Lopez

Official/Original Drop Date: On hold

Grade: WTF?

Blade(s): 3.5

Bottom-line: Not the worse heard in 2010 – so far.

Review: This album has been placed on hold as Jennifer Lopez seeks out a new record label to distribute it and I must say that it was the best decision. So there may be another review if another version of the album is released than the one reviewed here. I’ve already come to the conclusion that Lopez will never be a decent singer and most of her songs are best heard while intoxicated and in a club. That way, one only concentrates on the beats and not her vocals.

Love? has some good music and definitely strong club hits. Surprisingly, I did not recognize any cover songs or samples. Then again I could be slipping. This album is what it is – a typical J Lo album with no dramatic songs that makes me reconsider her skills as a musician: she has none. 3.5 blades and a WTF? for this project. Dang, 3.5 blades is the second highest I’ve ever given her projects. I guess that’s a positive step in the right direction for her. Keep up the good work?
