Where oh where have our videos gone. Oh where oh where can they be?? Time and time again when more and more artists are hitting the scene less and less videos are showing up on our television screens. They are popping up online more frequently than not. But here comes Brother Two-Faced to tell Little Sis YouTube and others like her not to keep them up “without” permission. Excuse us??? So how the hell are we supposed to know who has a video out? Damn well can’t depend on BET (Black Entertaining Trash), MTV (More Trash to View) or VH1 (Victims Here #1); they no longer care to show us anything video oriented, but when they have “Video Award Shows” they expect the public to believe the “tallied votes” and not laugh and ridicule the “winners”.
Who votes for these things anyway? The staff of the stations? They must be the ones up at 6 AM to watch the Jump Start show on MTV, pretty much the only show that has videos during the week. Maybe it’s the 12-year-olds who are up in time to watch The Bratz & Yugi-Oh cartoons. They can catch the VH1 video countdowns where they change the hosts like underwear. As for BET do they even have videos anymore? Dang, I never thought I’d say that I missed the Midnight Soul or Director’s Cut shows but I think those were the last of the “good crap.” Shoot, at this point I’ll even take Yo! MTV Raps. Anything to watch videos and see what’s going on. Oh yeah, please don’t mention TRL or 106 & Park because it’s not the same when there’s a coached audience there to make the guests feel good.
Just for the simple fact that these stations aren’t giving the audience something to watch yet having annual video shows with winners leaves me with the impression that these shows are rigged. I am an impressionable child of the W.O.S. Bred not to trust what I see and/or hear. Where statues at music shows and stars on street sidewalks can all be bought.
With a daily dose of faux-ality shows I have pretty much forgetton what videos look like. YouTube is ok but after the fan-made vids get mixed into the actual pile of studio videos one gets confused. The cut and paste action is so well improved that many of them look like the professional ones.
After all is said and done I hate to say this but: I want my MTV back

Ashley Judd seems to have added her happy ass to the long list of folks in denial of the monster that their precious industry (the W.O.S.) has created. Judd has taken it upon herself to reiterate the obvious while ignoring the giant wizard puppeteer behind the puppets.
espite the truth that there are no set programs, more than half of the shows are unconfirmed, the first week or more have only been previews of what MIGHT be shown, and more than half of all television viewers have yet to see anything on the OWN Network, mainstream
2010 has been another year where the WOS Celebs have stepped their game up in the category of bullshit, hot mess, and sloppiness. Yesterday, two WOS young bloods were in battled in another Internet War of Words. Twitter has become the "safe zone" to attack folks behind a computer and have the fans directly involved. Instant bullshit brought to everyone's and anyone's computer screens - whether asked for it or not.
As many gleam over the multiple of things that has been added to her list of "deeds" which deed became her turning point. ... Negating her sexuality (that has little to do with her public actions as far as I'm concerned) what is really going on with her? ... She doesn't seem to read or comprehend some of the books she pushes through her "book club" being that two frauds have been discovered. She only "confronted" one of the frauds because the other media began to question her intelligence and if she and her cohorts even fact checked their information.
