The night kicked off right with a verbal trip down memory lane with Madonna as she spoke on her relationship with the King of Pop and the troubles that plagued his life. Next we moved into the most awaited tribute since his passing – that of the one performed by his sister, Janet Jackson – a pop icon in her own right. As Michael Jackson look-a-likes graced the stage and re-enacted dance moves from some of the best videos. Soon Ms. Jackson graced the stage once her musical duet Scream began. Janet took the stage and performed her moves with her brother Mike. Once done, Janet gave recognition again to her brother and bowed to the adoring audience.
No sooner was the night going without a glitch that Taylor Swift unknowingly kicked off another temper tantrum from Ms. Kanye “Tears” West – Bitch Extraordinaire. Seems that this year either the checks failed to clear on time or the awards committee gained an ounce of taste and common sense. Taylor Swift beat out Beyonce’s Single Ladies video and while giving her acceptance speech, Ms. West stole Swift’s moment by intruding the stage and disrespecting her speech. He claims that he was doing it for Beyonce but folks with two brain cells that can fuck know that’s bullshit!
Despite the boos from the upset crowd towards Ms. West and cheers for Ms. Swift, Taylor was too stunned to continue and MTV was trying to move past the incident.
The night continued with a few moments here and there but nothing too memorable. Swift, Muse, and Green Day were a few of the short list of artists to perform for the night. The trapeze move from P!nk stood out but more on a WTH moment than and Ooh-Wee moment.
Regardless of the bullshit, Beyonce Knowles did pull a move that showed she has a nice side to her. After winning Video of the Year, Ms. Knowles called up Ms. Swift to make her acceptance speech. After expressing how excited she was to be nominated at the age of 17, she felt it was only right that Taylor have her moment. This is no way negates how I feel about Single Ladies as a song.
Lady Gaga and Eminem collected their moonmen and Jay-Z showed up in time to perform the last song with Alicia Keyes. A preview of the Michael Jackson documentary was the last thing shown for the night. It made the concert seem as though it would have been an amazing event for both Mr. Jackson and his fans.
BET could have asked MTV for some tips on how to pull a tribute together. It’s a shame that these two entities are owned by the same umbrella organization and BET is still not able to pull its shit together.

Kicking off this new segment for Bootlegged Reviews is the song Ah, Yeah! submitted by the indie artist, Flawless. Ashley Judd seems to have added her happy ass to the long list of folks in denial of the monster that their precious industry (the W.O.S.) has created. Judd has taken it upon herself to reiterate the obvious while ignoring the giant wizard puppeteer behind the puppets.
espite the truth that there are no set programs, more than half of the shows are unconfirmed, the first week or more have only been previews of what MIGHT be shown, and more than half of all television viewers have yet to see anything on the OWN Network, mainstream
2010 has been another year where the WOS Celebs have stepped their game up in the category of bullshit, hot mess, and sloppiness. Yesterday, two WOS young bloods were in battled in another Internet War of Words. Twitter has become the "safe zone" to attack folks behind a computer and have the fans directly involved. Instant bullshit brought to everyone's and anyone's computer screens - whether asked for it or not.
As many gleam over the multiple of things that has been added to her list of "deeds" which deed became her turning point. ... Negating her sexuality (that has little to do with her public actions as far as I'm concerned) what is really going on with her? ... She doesn't seem to read or comprehend some of the books she pushes through her "book club" being that two frauds have been discovered. She only "confronted" one of the frauds because the other media began to question her intelligence and if she and her cohorts even fact checked their information.
I’m interrupting Kanye to test this site
I had to stop watching MTV years ago.
