Review: Well beating out the holiday movies is Fred and his gang of midgets, I mean elves. He’s packing gifts of laughter that he hopes that you will enjoy what he has to offer. Before the turkey is even killed for dinner we’re told to enjoy thoughts of Christmas and expected to forget that it’s still 68 degrees.

This film starts out interesting but the hopes that it gets better is a strong one. So far the laughter comes at the scenes that were viewed in the commercials. The hope was that these wouldn’t be the only ones. I wasn’t disappointed.

The dance scenes are good and the interaction with Fred and the elves are great. Spacey as the creepy Holiday Auditor gives an amazing and believable performance.

One of the great concepts that they explored was Siblings Anonymous. This scene was one to enjoy. In this Bill Clinton’s brother steals the show and is very needy. So much so that it was actually funny.

Despite the comedy Christmas is once again in danger of being destroyed and it will be up to the under dog to save the day. Will they?

Side note: with all the families gathering to hug during the “warm & cozy” shots were all the Black families booked for This Christmas? Just wondering.

8 blades to a movie that had the same message as the many before it but was not afraid to add a little kick.
6 handcuffs for quality. The picture wasn’t the best but it wasn’t the worst I’ve seen either. The real kicker was Gene’s snoring through the film. Not all the way; he woke up just in time to state the obvious that Sylvester Stallone’s brother made a cameo. Duh! then he went back to sleep. Sorry to keep you out past your bedtime – dork.
