Confessions of an R&B Singer

Album: Confessions

Blades: 10

Review: With the Confessions album Usher stepped back on the stage and brought some new tunes and the same spin. After putting on the pounds and having a child he thought that it was time to return to the forefront of the industry. Usher brought listeners through the different levels of his jacked relationship and confession of infidelity.

The colabo with Ludacris got the party hot with “Yeah,” as the song got me on my feet. For an album that was billed as one of d his bad deeds, confused me as he cried about the woman having her indiscretions. Guess the goose doesn’t like when the gander does dirty, but those are the chances one takes when they decide to confess. Truth Hurts speaks on a man who must deal with his own guilt and passes the blame onto his love, while his own closet is begging to be cleaned out.

The album as a whole was very good and Usher has maintained his place as a worthy R&B singer and gets 10 full blades.
