Who would have thought the award shows would get this desperate and host a concert for the announcements of nominations to an award. And they say the music industry is losing money. I don’t know about anyone else but when the budget gets tight I normally don’t throw a blowout celebration with the few dimes I have left. I usually wait until I’m down to two pennies so that I may rub them together.
Either way LL Cool J was the host and some may wonder why. I have no response for you on that one. Am I happy that a Negro has employment, always. However, the hosting of a nominations concert does not blow me away. Maxwell was one of the performers and he did a bang up job with his Michael Jackson dedication of ‘Lady in My Life.’ A great compensation for watching this “concert.” I could always do without the Black Eye Peas and the screeches of their lead singer and the computerized vocals of Will I Am along with the screeches of the Jonas Brothers even though it was only one doing his solo project – that shit was a waste of time. And what is up with these shows drowning out the people holding the mics? The reason for watching is to hear who got nominated, or so I thought, yet no one (except Smokey Robinson and Ringo Starr) could be heard.
Taylor Swift continues to receive accolades from the industry promoters and Beyoncé is placed back on the Pedestal of Pacification as she leads the nominations, mainly for the garbage single Single Ladies. Few seem to be in a slight uproar that Kanye West has not been crowned Coon of the Show because he received no nominations. Now I can put aside my distaste for West’s behavior to say that perhaps his album could have been rewarded with another industry statue. Then again, I don’t feel like being an adult today.George Lopez was another waste of time to watch and as I usually do, I fast forwarded through his nonsense once he began to struggle with simply naming the nominees. Still wondering why this could not be done during a press conference or send out a emails even.
The official set up will air January 31st.

Ashley Judd seems to have added her happy ass to the long list of folks in denial of the monster that their precious industry (the W.O.S.) has created. Judd has taken it upon herself to reiterate the obvious while ignoring the giant wizard puppeteer behind the puppets.
espite the truth that there are no set programs, more than half of the shows are unconfirmed, the first week or more have only been previews of what MIGHT be shown, and more than half of all television viewers have yet to see anything on the OWN Network, mainstream
2010 has been another year where the WOS Celebs have stepped their game up in the category of bullshit, hot mess, and sloppiness. Yesterday, two WOS young bloods were in battled in another Internet War of Words. Twitter has become the "safe zone" to attack folks behind a computer and have the fans directly involved. Instant bullshit brought to everyone's and anyone's computer screens - whether asked for it or not.
As many gleam over the multiple of things that has been added to her list of "deeds" which deed became her turning point. ... Negating her sexuality (that has little to do with her public actions as far as I'm concerned) what is really going on with her? ... She doesn't seem to read or comprehend some of the books she pushes through her "book club" being that two frauds have been discovered. She only "confronted" one of the frauds because the other media began to question her intelligence and if she and her cohorts even fact checked their information.
